I just saw this Mike...does this mean you won't be staying in Japan? Can the military let you move to NZ? I hear that has wayyyyyy awesome climbing....and the beer is the best in the world (sadly better than Aussie beer ). I'd love to have you back here in Korea...why? Well you are cool. We have this grannd wall now in Daejeon. Some groovy multi-pitching in Seoraksan and Insubong and Seoninbong/ Dobongsan. Makkoli? But now real alpinism...though from here to China's alps or the hims isn't too far. I dunno.

You wouldn't be the first to go back to Korea! I can't say it doesn't cross my mind. Why? Because you love it. . . you know you do. . . you have some unfinished business at _______________(fill in name of crag). . . you miss the kim-chi/bukbunjaju. . . Sununsan in _______(fill in preferred season) is amazing!

mekjugogibap = yes!

I just got back to Korea about 6 months ago, sadly I haven't been climbing yet for lack of vehicle, but that will change in Oct. I've decided to stay here for a long time this trip, stayed for 5 years last time.
