Gasherbrum I and II beta request.

Does anyone out there have 1st/good 2nd hand beta on Gasherbrum I (Hidden Peak) and Gasherbrum II routes...particularly on the relative difficulty of the traverse route from Gasherbrum II across to GI to shoot for the double? Know anyone who has climbed either GI or GII who could give me some beta on these routes (post collapse of "banana ridge" on GII's normal route I've heard it's become rather more challenging).
Anyone seriously interested in joining a base camp supported (only) GI/GII exped 2007 (June-July)? PLEASE contact me asap. pm or e-mail is cool. Thanks. Jake.

I'd be down.

Im curious to hear more details on your trip. I have done the west rib on Denali and the polish glacier on Aconcagua, not too mention a variety of winter ascents throughout North America. But, I have yet to cut my teeth on the Himalayan mts.
I have spent a lot of time in the past training partners and getting them ready. Only to lose them after the climb to marriage, kids, life events, etc. So, Im ready for some climbing peeps who already have the skills and knowledge. I'd want to do some smaller peaks and maybe hit a few alpine routes here in Korea or Japan before attempting an 8000m peak. Feel free to pm me if you have any ideas.

Cheers
Bryan
