Aggg!! Bollocks. I only finish at 8:30pm. Where will you guys be staying friday evening? Camping? I could take a train after work and stay in a minbak or something. How long is the journey? But I think leaving early Saturday morning would be better then. Call me a tool, but where must I go in the first place? That Yongseo Pokpo link is way too busy. The only thing I saw was Guyre city. Which is where?

Sigi, just get a train to Gurye Station. From there you can get a taxi (fast and cheap) or walk (longer and confusing to explain) to Yongseo Pokpo. Taxis will usually know it because there is a small village and cafe/ coffee shop there which is popular with locals and such. It's only 5 mins from the train station.

Try calling this number for advice on how and when trains run to Guryegu station ("gurye" or "guryegu" station same same):
(☎1544-8545).
Sigi it is in the south down near the south-western tip of Jirisan National Park.

I'm thinking of popping in and saying hi on sunday. out of curiosity, do people know about how long they're going to be staying on sunday? I don't want to get there at 10 if everyone's leaving at noon : )

I'll see if I can pop down too. Maybe Sat arvo maybe Sun morning. After last weekends fiasco I hope to send at least a few routes Also be good chance to assess the anchor problem there and figure out which routes/ anchors/ bolts we most want to replace. Then we can take a detailed plan of action/ request to the original route makers. Finally Sonia has a request for extra beta and so on on Yongseo Pokpo for her book project. Anyone from the North (or from somewhere between Daejeon and Yongseo) who wants to share fuel/ ride just pm me.
