information updating

There is a lot of rather bad (simply incorrect, poorly explained, or outdated) information on this site. Is there any way the pages for climbing locations can be converted to a 'wiki' interface?

Some location pages are almost useless. For example: Anyang Art Park. The description is bad, the directions are bad. And the user who created the page last posted to KOTR three years ago.

Despite the lack of information, climbers visit the Anyang Art Park, thinking the boulders will be evident. I've found some unrelated boulders nearby, but like others, I too have no idea where these 25 lines can be found. Bad information gives us false hopes and usually wastes our time.

A 'wiki' interface allows for revision and would ultimately benefit our climbing community quite a lot.

I agree... at least in terms of users should be able to update others' postings. I was trying to redo the site so that was possible but it was a lot of work and I ran out of time.

In the meantime, if you have updated info about a place, you have 2 options:

1. You could post the updated information in a comment about the place.

2. Or, feel free to contact the original listing's author and ask them to transfer ownership of the listing to you. The author will need to tell me to do this but once it's done, you will have control over the listing.

3. I guess the other option is you could make a new listing and I could delete the old one.

Fall: To retreat in dynamic fashion from a climb.
