incheon climbing

Hey all,
I'm new to Korea (arrived oct.20) and am wondering about the climbing around Incheon. I live in the namdong-gu area in Incheon.
I've heard there is a climbing gym near the seonhak subway station?
Is there any good outdoor climbing in the area?
I have a rope, draws and some other climbing gear so if anyone lives in the area and wants to do some climbing let me know!

They are about an hour apart. However, I do not believe that there are many climbs near Osan.. Anyang has some climbing and near Incheon. Your best bet for outdoor is Seoul except it's about to cold for that.

This time of year, you have to head south for climbing to Busan or maybe Go-chang (limestone)..

Were in Cheonan. There are a few places here and 1 free indoor gym..
Good luck

So is an hour considered too far to travel to go climbing in Korea? I am used to driving 3-4 hours to get to the decent crags in Tennessee and North Carolina from where I lived in Georgia. I understand it will be more difficult with the whole public transit/not knowing the language thing, but I am determined to climb every weekend that it's not raining and the temp is at least 30 degrees. Can you take a bicycle on the trains and buses in Korea?

No, an hour is not far at all. Keep in mind that it only takes 5 to cross tha country. I am sure that there are direct buses from Incheon to most cities so getting around is not tough. The challenge is getting from the bus station to the crags.

You can take a bike on the train during off peak times. You are supposed to get a special ticket for it.

We climb most weekend and some weekdays. If u can make it to cheonan yoou can join us.

Sounds good, I will start researching where that is and how to get there.
