Climbing in Jeju, sep-okt

Hi,
Are there any parties at Jeju-do island between ~sep29-okt3 that I could join? I would like to rockclimb at some place on the island for a day and maybe some evenings and early mornings. I will travel around by car.
I am a solid 5.11-climber in sport and trad but often do both easier and harder climbs.

Besides, anyone who have some ideas where to stay on the island, I looking for a clean, calm place with nice enviroment to a resonable price. All tips are welcome!

/Andreas

Andreas, there's a great (and active!) bunch of foreigners and Koreans on Jeju-do. There's a Facebook group, JBC (Jeju Bouldering and Climbing). Dan from this website has a blog that has many linked resources. He's a long time resident of the island, and with these resources, you should be able to contact him and others.

Musucheon and Oedolgae are the top spots, but the former is especially prone to flash floods. The climbing scene focuses on Jeju City, with several "new" areas recently developed and soon-to-be "opened" to the public. The locals can show you these. Best to hit one of the gyms to meet people, or of course, FB.

No DWS that I know of, though there's a great series of sheltered swimming holes (and they are surrounded by rocks, but you'd be traversing^^) just west of Oedolgae (follow the trails and steps down) if you're craving a swim.

Today I arrived to Jeju and would like to try climbing at Jeju. I would be happy if someone could show me some good crag for a couple of houses. Maybe at Saturday?
Give me a shout if it is possible. I stay at Hani Guesthouse on the northwest side of Jeju. I have car with GPS and can pick up at any place.
