Coming to Korea

I will be getting to Korea around second week of Aug. I would like to be climbing at the latest 20th of August. Looking to meet some new people as well, I will be in the Gunsan-si area for a year. Hit me up if there is anyone out there willing to show me around, maybe go to the crags.

Are you on base? There is a wall on base and one in the city and a gym in the city, so you can meet local climbers at these places. I'll be back in Korea Aug 22 (in Jeonju, just SE of Gunsan)-- there are quite a few climbers in our province who get out regularly. From Gunsan you're fairly close to Seonunsan, Halmae Bawi, Yongseo Falls, Daedunsan, Hagampo.

Cool thank you for the advice, I will definitely be hitting the gym on base. I can't wait to see all these places I have heard so much about. I know a couple of the guys that are on this site that have moved to Okinawa, so I have been probing every chance I get for information on climbing areas.
