Daedunsan - RESCUE RIDGE
Hey team,
Got out to Daedunsan the other weekend with Aaron from Busan and Heidi. We were headed up the rescue ridge, and got to the portion where there is the Tyrolean traverse portion.
The cable for the traverse has been REMOVED! So leave your rescue pulleys at home!
You can bypass this section by either sneaking through the large crack to the right of the climb and walking past it (climbing up a cruisy 5.8) or you can climb up it and potentially rappel down, then climb up the next climb as well. Not too sure why they removed it, but we did find a LOT of gear on this climb that was loose (spinning bolg hangers!).
That was a pretty bad description, but if you need any clarification let me know.
