Bouldering in Seoul?

Hey guys,

i am an exchange student from Austria and i met this nice guy in Jeju (Cheol-young Park) who told me about this site if i wanted to find people and places to go bouldering. He said it would be better if I ask to come with some of the experienced climbers, because they know the spots.

I am not an expert but i guess i am ok, just a little bit out of shape since ive only been climbing twice since i am here (almost 4 months now). i have my own shoes (and harness) here with me and i would love to go bouldering/climbing a bit before i get home, so i dont get my *** completely kicked by my friends back home

since there is no more school, i have pretty much time anytime during the week and weekend, so if one of you guys would be willing to take me with you, i would appreciate it

Oliver,

The bouldering season here in Seoul is, in my opinion, over until September (heat, humidity, rain). That is not to say that you can't get out there, though. I'm booked up this weekend, but if we get even remotely climbable weather in the near future, I'll be looking to head out.

I'm at the K2 climbing gym pretty regular as well. Real pricey for just a one day pass (20,000), but reasonable for a month (100,000), and downright affordable for 3 months (200,000). I'll send you a PM with my number.

well, summer of korea is hot and humid. However dude from south still climbs in hot summer while canadian from north don't.

I'm planning to go seoul once in this month if there is no rain.

hey, oliver if you are intrested in busan, visit once! busan also has bouldering place! we have pads and sizable crew.

sad news is it might rain on this weekend.
