Hey man,

I'm new and keen to climb too. I'd totally be up for a climb on Saturday if I'm not in Japan (visa run). I'm 99% sure I'll be around though so if you wanna head out somewhere round Seoul let me know.

The only gear I've got with me right now is shoes and a harness so we'd have to climb on your gear if that is cool.

Drop me a line buddy.

ADAM!

Cool. I can lead so long as the grade isn't too high (my limit is about 10b right now). Just gotta get out hands on a rope!

Indeed, there are some sick deals in Jongo 5- you should get one and we'll go this weekend!

Cool. I'll go have a look. I've got to pick one up at one point or another anyway. Where are the shops around Jongno-5? Which exit?

You can't miss the climbing shops. . . they are all over the place. . . facing the main road and back though the side streets.

I like your attitude. You've "ot to pick one up at one point or another anyway". . . and sooner means you'll be climbing sooner Hope you find a stellar deal!

I usually exit #5 then walk straight past this flower shop then make a right into the first alley. Good luck buddy, don't be afraid to bargain!

Hey guys,

On the chance it doesnt rain over the weekend, there might be a goodly amount of climbers heading to Ganhyun this weekend. Its a great place to pick up your climbing in korea where ever you left it behind back home. Heres a link with info:

http://www.koreaontherocks.com/climb...d=22&sort=name

Its an 1.5 hours from seoul on the train. station is on the 1 line called cheongnyangni. trains leave at 7am, 9am, 12.... there are others. there are camping places and also cheap indoor options. wide range of climbing to do, on good rock. so, see you there?

I'll be there later on saturday afternoon. others might arrive by friday afternoon. Will be there until sunday, again, pending good weather.

Les
