Hey Guys,

How was Yongpyong? I hit up High1 on friday night and the upper mountain was actually pretty decent. No crowds on the steeper terrian. Nothing to write home about but still fun riding to be had.

Hi Brad,

Glad to hear Hi 1 was okay. Yongpyong was okay as well with some of the top opening and a decent day of snow. Unfortunately Sarah got stuck in some massive traffic coming up to YP and I was unable to catch up with her and her friends; however they should have had some good night skiing and hopefully the opportunity will arise to catch up with some KOTRers again skiing.

Yeah traffic was a nightmare getting to the resort. What should've taken 2 hours ended up as 5 !!O_o!!

But after booking a pension we spent the entire night boarding. Lots of lovely powder and only a few spots of ice. As the night drew on they began closing the bigger slopes but there were still plenty to enjoy right up to midnight.

I'm sure we will get another chance to hit the slopes again soon - we've got ourselves three more beautiful months of this...

Good to hear your report though~ I'll be coming back in late Feb-- a bit early for work, so if I get settled in early I'd love to head up north and get in some skiing (with a stop to visit Jake and ice-climb:-?). I generally leave Korea in winter, and I've only been to Muju. . . so keep posting snow conditions. . . though
