Alas I believe it was a damn Kiwi! Still, to continue the established tradition, I s'pose we Aussies will, nay, must claim it as our own (like Russell Crowe, the Pavlova, Crowded House...). Poor old New Zealand just isn't ready for the burden of success just yet, so we'll bear that for them

But they are cool, eh? I particularly like the alpine model with the neck-gaiter flaps.

Damn, that was smart (even if it was a Kiwi who invented it ). I don't wear caps and I don't think I'd want one on my fedora (Tell her again, Gabe, it's not a cowboy hat!) but I do believe I'll be getting one for my Old Man.
