hey it's me again. i got a job offer in sokcho -- anyone out there? do you think the climbing is worth the move, or is it a place best visited? will i die of loneliness and boredom? anyone? anyone?

thanks eric. it's been pretty difficult deciding on a location since the jobs are relatively plentiful right now. i keep asking myself: live near the rock, or live near a gym and go on trips (i'd meet lots of people that way, eh?)? or live in seoul and breathe in the smog? anyway, hope to see you out there...

I live down in Daegu and there is a ton of climbing around here and it is central to many other good places and you don't have the crowds of Seoul. The Koreans are nice as hell if you can speak a bit of the language or are willing to learn. I isn't uncommen to be invited out of town with them. Good luck.
