2011 autumn Meet and Greet accommodation thread

Kanhyeon is a tourist resort, with minbaks, hotels and campsites-- an ideal place for a Meet and Greet. However, the sooner bookings for rooms can be made, the better.

Camping and a campfire are so much a part of climbing!

All kinds of accommodations are available, and this thread is to help people organize. If you need a room-mate/tent/whatever, post, if you have extra space, post! I have a 5 person tent and a one person tent-- thus I have room for 5 more than me. And a large vehicle that 1-2 might sleep very uncmfortably in. I only have 1 sleeping bag, but I have an extra mat and some blankets for the adventurous souls.

Post here if you have or need a place, want to rent a room, etc.

I have a sleeping pad and warm clothes and not much else :|
but I'd rather be camping than minbakkin!

If i could snag a blanket and get away with not needing to buy a sleeping bag I'd be stoked

David, I can bring my "extra" yeo (a great ground pad for 2-3-- though you do have a pad. . . if it's cold . . .) and maybe a blanket (but not necessarily a great one) from home. . . I'll talk with a friend about a (summerish) bag this weekend. . . you'll have dibs.

And I assume tent-space?

that all sounds great! I have some decently warm clothes, so the blanket doesn't have to be spectacular. Tent space would be great as well! hehe

i have no equipment for camping. What would you suggest for a camping noob?

as it's first come. . . you have tent and mat space, so if you can beg, borrow (or but. . . E-mart or G-market or Jongno-5-ga!) a sleeping bag, you should be good to go for camping!

Hey just saw about the trip today, was wondering if anyone is planning on minbaking. I have no tent and I kind of have a chest infection so I think camping is out! I would love to get into a room, if anyone has one booked.

Hey, I would love to camp if someone has some free tent space. If not, I would be interested in going in on a mimbak with some people.
