Autumn Meet and Greet 2011

It's getting to be that time of year again (yeah, not exactly feeling autumn, but it's coming!) and no better way to kick off the climbing season than a KOTR gathering!

Spring was at Seonunsan, so autumn falls to Ganhyeon (these two crags can accomodate campers, non-campers and climbers of all levels). Ganhyeon is located near Wonju in Gangwondo, on the rail line from Seoul.

It's a great opportunity to meet fellow climbers, learn new techniques and enjoy a weekend of climbing, camping, great food and fun.

Personally, I'd prefer this event sooner than later (so I can spend all fall climbing with the people I meet^^) . . .

You can vote for more than one date. No date will be perfect for everyone, but if you know of an event that might preclude a number of people from coming, please mention it (especially military exercises or EPIK inservices that people can't get out of).

I know the big KOTESOL Conference in Seoul is Oct 15-16, so I'd prefer it not be that weekend (or I'll be ferrying in and out of Seoul TT.TT).

Gabe reminded me the first weekend (Sept) many of us are working on an initiative for rebolting, so maybe that's not the best weekend--at least one I won't be voting for!

Oct 3rd is a holiday so it would be easier for people who don't live near Seoul to make it for the 1st and 2nd. ^^
