If you've been dying for climbing material to read or watch in English, here is the beta on such a store:

http://outdoorbooks.co.kr/
[email protected]
02)766-8848
011-9066-9193
서울시 성북구 동소문동1가 44 삼우빌딩 502호. (우)136-031
(Seoul-si Seongbok-gu Dongsomundong 1ga 44 Sam-u Building 502ho)

In order to view a map of his shop, click on "회사소개" in the upper lefthand corner of his homepage.

The owner's name is Ho, Gyeong-pil. His shop is completely dedicated to climbing and mountaineering. He has a ton of books, magazines(current and old) and videos both in Korean and in English.

You can also have him mail order you whatever it is you find of interest on his webpage if you live too far away or cannot make the trip.

If you have difficulty finding his shop, feel free to give him a call. I'm sure he'll be glad to come out to meet you nearby.

Good luck!

Take Line 4 to Han Sung University (419) exit number 7. Walk straight, turn left down the first small alley/street. Walk straight, it's on the 5th floor, room 502 above the post office. If you get lost ask where the post office is or call Ho Kyung Pil
02-766-8848
011-9066-9193

You can order off the website, or phone in your order, Ho Kyung Pil is the President/Director of the Corean Alpine Club, he is a really nice guy who speaks okay English.

Not to mention he has a really good selection of English climbing books, magazines, guides, and movies. His email is [email protected]

Dear Climbers,

Thank you very much Eric, Ben and Sean.

I'm Kyung Phil Ho, the owner of OUTDOORBOOKS in Seoul.
I have informed this site from Sean.
It's very informative and cool.

My store is open in 08:00am to 08:00pm except Sunday.
If you have any questions, feel free. I'm always there.

And please visit my web site and enjoy the world mountain books(www.outdoorbooks.co.kr).

Good Luck!
