As I mentioned in the Women's Weekend post, I'm out for Yeosu (even if the Women want to move their weekend there) because it's just too far to travel for just a weekend...especially when I teach Monday mornings. BUT...I will be climbing somewhere!

I wouldn't know where you ladies were talking about going in the Girlz thread...I heard something about a restraining order and being sent to the 7th circle of hell if we were caught violating it.

BEER, BEEF AND BOLTS!!!

ya know...with so many seoulites wanting to come but worried about travel times, y'all should look into renting a car/van. sharing costs between a handful of people would still probably be cheaper overall and all you need is an international drivers license and strong nerves.
it'll definitely be worth the hassle...beach, bbq, beef, beer, boys, babes, bolts, boulders, and a bitchin good time!

btw, i think jessica meant KTX to Iksan. Yongsan to Iksan is less than 2 hours (KTX) and Iksan to Yeosu (mugungwha) is just over 2.5 hours.

All that hot manliness to myself, sans-competition, couldn't be better
hmmm. . . maybe you should read back over that?! As far as I know, there's not a lot of competition for that "manliness" (though several KOTRers are married or involved in serious realtionships). . . though they may need some help with the wax (I still can't believe I didn't get censored for "asses!" I wonder if I can say assfuck maybe? Wow, that worked. OK, from now on, when I mean "****" I'll add an "***". . . this is like South Park! You can't write *** or ****, but assfuck, or asses plural! what about fucks plural? OK!).

That said, I'm not interested in a night of drinking and idiocy . I'd love to get back to the good old days of respect, comeradery and good times with KOTR, but even given that, I can't commit to anything in the next few weeks as I don't know what I'll feel like and where I'll be in terms of healing and mobility so soon.

Women, I'll be gone all summer (until the end of August), but I'd encourage you to go on a women's weekend! Be sure to check out the busy times for O2, though. The TRs are very limited 2-3 ropes, so more than 4 people, if there are others around, may mean spending a lot of time just waiting (and time is $$ there). Ice climbing is not "difficult" per se; we were asked if we had been before and were allowed to go with limited experience. I would recommend having someone with some experience; you may be allowed to go in any event. . .

OK, that's good (now that we've both laughing the asses are plural. . . though mine's kinda plural anyway. . .)

I hadn't even noticed how that sounded until I read your post Rick! I was just going back and forth posting, and editing, each time I realized I wasn't censored? I was like, "hmm" and I'd edit in my commentary.
You can thank Chris for this discovery. They managed to pry his DVD (Orgazmo, written by, directed and staring Trey Parker of South Park fame) out of my computer. . . I brought it to work and watched it. . . I hadn't thought of putting *** and **** together. . .

MAN's thread

How far is it from Seoul? I'll be hella new to the country and only be a few days in, but beach+bouldering grabs attention quick.
