KOTR is looking for a new owner. Are you a developer, a climber and have plans to stay in Korea for a while? If so, email me at [email protected]

I'm looking for a place to crash. I'm down to share a room or whatever...unfortunately, I'm tent-less.

I have no camping gear or even sleeping bag yet. Planning to invest in a 2/3 man tent+sleeping bag in the next few months, but not able to get them for this trip though.So...I'm looking for a place to share.

Well, G-Market just sent me my 7-8 person "minbak" tent. . . I just put it up (it takes up about 1/2 of my "one room" which sleeps about 4. So I say we can do 6 in my tent. . . but with Tash, Jean, Matt and myself. . . that leaves only 2 more spaces. . . and if Dan comes from Jeju, I'd give him first dibs (you'd want a sleeping-bag/mat, though). . . I can actually do 3 more, as I have a small one-person tent I'll bring as well. I figure we plan on 7, and the loudest snorer gets the one-man. (Due to lack of soil, etc. . . i am not even trying out the fly at home!!)
I also have a hammock (Jean and I will be down on Thurs, so I can snag the best trees) if the weather is fair. . .
Camping is big in Korea. . . so with planning time, people might be able to borrow tents or sleeping bags from Korean colleagues. . . it's worth asking around.

I'm looking at purchasing a sleeping bag before the weekend, maybe a tent as well.

anyone have any ideas on a good 2person tent? I'm looking on G-market and most of the tents are super cheap so I assume that they're crap and will fall apart. And the only decent ones I've seen don't break down to a manageable size. I'm looking for something I can stuff in my pack. If anyone knows a good tent model or a place to find one, please let me know.

Scott. . . I think you're on the wrong forum!
Jade and Patrick, you're on the wrong thread! There are shopping threads, gear reviews and general chat thread on this site. Please use this thread for posts about the Meet and Greet.
