Here is a good chance to get into ice climbing for cheap.
2 Ice tools (One is Grivel and other is Charlet Moser. They work together great as they are basically same length, weight and shape.)
1 pair of Grivel crampons (The crampons are basically an older version of the new G-12. The crampons are rigid and use an Allen wrench to adjust to your boot size. Front teeth are vertical for ice climbing and they can be changed from to two front teeth or one using spacers. The current set-up is two front teeth on one and one on the other. These crampons are made for step-in style boots.)
This is a great way to enter the sport to see if it for you.
