Hi all,
My name is Boon and I'm from Singapore. My partner and I are considering visiting Korea for a climbing trip this June (mainly sport climbs or boulders). I've been looking through this site and seems like finding a crag or a place to climb wouldn't be a major issue - most places have pretty detailed instructions of getting there.
The main problem for us currently is the equipment - we have our own shoes, harnesses and belaying device, but that's about it. Bringing ropes, quick draws and/or crash mats is going to be a major headache for us.
We'll be keen to meet up and make new friends, but because we're planning so far in advance (to save some money

), it would be difficult to make any arrangements now.
Hence, I'm looking for any advice on how I should plan my trip. It seems that the regions around Seoul and Busan have more climbs (I could be wrong, please fill me in), but we're probably open to suggestions.
I can lead a 6c, and may hang on 7a-s (but I haven't been leading for a while). I could probably boulder V6 (give or take a few grades). My partner (female) would be a few grades lower usually.
Any advice? We're thinking if there were some kind of guides available, or places where we could rent some equipment from.
Thanks in advance!
