KOTR Connection

When I was in Europe, Freddie Wilkinson contacted me about his book, seeking information on climbing in Korea. The book, One Mountain Thousand Summits: The Untold Story of Tragedy and True heroism on K2 is out now-- I saw it at the trade show (but missed Freddie!!) this summer. He just sent a copy, and it promises to be a great read, telling the story of the 2008 season on K2, when tragedy struck that included Korean climbers.

I admit, I am psyched to be quoted and cited^^ and also acknowledged from KOTR are Jake (shanja) and Dong-il (Dong-il) whom I felt might further help him, and who apparently did!
