i was planning on heading to chuncheon today to christen a new climbing area that just had some fresh routes bolted (between 5.9 and 5.12 i've been told). unfortunately i had a mild lapse of judgement and got caught up in a drinking game until the wee hours of the morning. not too hungover, but too drained to make the 2 1/2 hour car ride to do a few routes. jenn and i are planning on checking chuncheon out in the near future though... possibly next weekend. a korean i met at a local bouldering comp informed me that there's tonnes of climbing in the area, including sport, trad, bouldering and a big wall! i'm anxious to check it out and i'll be sure to post my findings here if it's anything worth mentioning. anyone interested in heading to chuncheon in two weeks time, feel free to join us.
