Climbing partner in Gwangju?

Really appreciate the invite, unfortunately my school has some plans for me over the weekend, and my body will have plans of its own after 30 some odd hours traveling. After my first weekend here though, I am all about traveling!

Hey Charles, welcome to KOTR and Korea. If this weekend isn't gonna swing, fret not. The very next weekend we are having another bash at Ganhyeon Crag which is near Wonju city in Kangwon-Do Province (yellow area on Korea map at bottom of scroll bar on KOTR Left). That's kinda a haul for you guys from Gwangju, but it'll be a great weekend, and it's a super cool crag. Great camping, a river, Min-baks (cheap private doss-room hotel things) and heaps of climbs. I live in Jeonju, 1 hour 20 minutes-ish from Gwangju (by bus), and there are lots of greeeeeat climbing areas nearby. You're more than welcome to come climbing with me anytime!

Hey Charles,
I'll be moving back to Yeosu (about 2 hours south of Gwangju) soon and plan on getting back into climbing again. I'm only a beginner though.

There's a couple of great places around G'ju to go climbing and I'm sure Lindsey or I or a few others around would be more than happy to show you around.
