Ok So that other thread that started the talk about Daegu got huge so I thought I would restart the thread for this coming weekend.

Heidi and I are going to head down to Daegu on SAT AM leaving USAG Humphreys at about 0500 to get to Daegu at 0900 or so depending on traffic.

I really like the Idea of climbing at Yeoungyeoung on SAT and then some place else on SUN.

What is the camping situation in YeonGyeong thesedays? From memory (a year or so since I climbed there last...) the place was pretty dodgy for camping...has that changed? Otherwise it's a much finer crag than the original post in search climbs suggests.

It is posslible but not really all that great. If I remember correctly you could set up a tent back by the seccond wall only really room for one or two and you would need to set up after climbing was done and tear down brefore people started the next day. There are rest rooms but no running water if I remember right. I really like the crag(no hike in ) and there is a range of climbs.

We might change venues in the PM. . . anyone up for Waegwan? Or Uksugol? There's a big jjimjilbang near Uksugol (and I really need some pics of people climbing) . . . still debating inclusion of Yongmunsan (the place we went after the rain. . . that time?!

There were at least 3 Daegu climbers: Ian, Marissa and Sonja-- are y'all gonna stay in town this weekend?!

Hey guys, Shannon from Mokpo here, I'm thinking of making the trip up to Daegu on Saturday and I'm wondering what the deal for accommodations are. Where are people planning on staying?

There are several options I stayed at a hotel the time nine people stayed in Matts place and that was Ok.

Camping is an option Heidi and I may do the sleep in the back of the van thing agian if the weather is nice.

As Sonia with an i not a j stated there are three climbers in Daegu that may be generous enough to put a few people up.

My plans are kind of up in the air at the moment, but I'm a definate maybe at the moment... as usual. I'd like to stay in town, but it's looking like I may head up to Seoul for a thing. I'll find out for sure tonight. I wanted to throw out the possibility for an Ulsan rendezvous, but it's just an idea at this point.

Heather, I think I'll be driving in from Ulsan Sat AM, should you decide to go to Daegu. PM me or call. . . currently my cell phone battery and charger are dead, but that might hopefully change!!

I'd like to meet up in Daegu on Saturday too- what rock do I "search" for? I also plan to climb Sunday and Monday. I'll go anywhere.
