We are interested in joining the group climbing in Gahyon. Is it possible to join you for climbing on Sat or Sun. We are not sure we can make it there early enough tomorrow on the 0700 and the next does not arrive till 1300 something. Thank you all for the great directions there. The train sounds like the way to go and then walking. We do not have camping equip. no tent, no bags or pads. Does anyone know if there is a place to crash near Gahnyon? We will consult other resources further. Sorry if this message is not as clear. Too tired after a long great day exploring Seoul and drooling at the mountains in the distance. Will ck forum in morn. Hope to meet up with either Maisan or Gahyon depending on our ability to meet up. Thank you everyone very much for all the beta and invitaion.

hey, i climbed with your brother down south at a (now) long lost place called Halmei Bawi (which is now a long story). fine fellow indeed!
this doesn't help your situation but had to chime in...

edit: kanhyon will be WAY easier access for you with such limited time and there will be plenty of non-camping options for you very close to the crag.

We're about to leave for Ganhyeon. We'll be there all day but probably not tomorrow. Like Rick said, there are plenty of little minbaks to stay at right at the crag.

I was hoping to find you! My brother said he climbed with you in Hampi and then Korea just 1 yr ago! Thank you so much for the advice. It is hard to judge knowing only so little about all the massive climbing in this rad Kountry. WE are headed to Ganhyung. Perhaps we'll see you there. So much to do and see and we leave on Tues. Are you up to climbing on Sun or Monday?

Ricardo, Skinsk, Mil-Mil, Chickenlegs, all,

Due to confusion in transfer from subway to Train we were unable to make 1200 train to Ganhyung. We are still psyched to go climbing tomorrow with anyone. Our default pan is to take the 1900 train to Ganhyung tonight arriving 2054.

Does anyone have lodging suggestions or does anyone want to crash together with us to climb Ganhyung tomorrow?

Or elsewhere/other place near Seoul.

Do you want to go climbing tomorrow in Ganhyung? We have all sport equip. Climb 5.7-5.10b/c.

Do you know how we find minbak or guest house in Ganhyung we are can't seem to find any kind of lodging on internet.
