Ice Climbing Competition and Festival Jan 28/29

There is an ice climbing competition and festival this coming weekend, Jan 28th and 29th , at the YeongDong ice park nearby Daejon. The Korean Alpine Federation is welcoming foreign entrants to the festival with the gift of a free fleece and accommodations for Saturday night. If you are interested please send a text to Dong Ill at 010 3595 3701 for more information. Or feel free to post a question here and I’ll answer to the best of my knowledge.

If you got boots, I have both strap-on and toe welt crampons and a pair of axes. I'm sure they will have some axes there too.
