Ok so here is what I am understanding so far...

Friday show up and make camp.
Saturday Get up and climb, eat lunch on our own, eat dinner as a group like last time with a theme of south of the US boarder kind of stuff. Thus the beans and such. Drink a beverage of your choice/bringing ie BYOB culminated with trying to burn Ganhyeon down with a fire started by ??
Sunday Get up and climb and say good bye in the afternoon sometime.

Am I way off base? Or did the not so bright Army guy firgure this out so far...

Obviously this is a loose "schedule" that has no actual base in reallity we are free spirited climbers that don't usullay plan too much but I just wanted to do a little summary of the free form thoughts that have been thrown out there. We want people to know when to show up and what to bring...

OK enough rambling

Later

Mike

That sounds about right! If anyone can get down early I'd be up for some Fri PM climbing! I will also volunteer to feed a few vegetarians with a light lunch Sat (because you want to wait for the feast), and/or help coordinate a meal for the Friday folks (Thai? Indian? Cajun?).

James, I can try to get that info for you, but you might want to double check when you arrive as to a timetable for return trips. The train info was double checked on the reservation web site, so it should be up-to-date.

R&R. . .maybe y'all should get a room (if I were ric I would have a goofy smiley guy here). . .

Last M&G Eric put out a phone list of members who were definitely going and might help out if anyone gets lost. Feel free to consult my profile and call if that's the case.

I don't have a car/vehicle, but some people who do might not mind doing one run to the city if anyone is doing a really long haul. . . if anyone trusts me with their vehicle (and I would NOT be offended if not) I did get my International Driver's Liscence this summer and would be willing to make one run. . .say if normalcy makes it up. . .or Dan. . .

My wife and I are stoked to meet all of you!

We will be bringing:

1 rope
draws
crashpad?
tent
jetboil
....
and we have a Costco membership, so we could probably pick some stuff up if we needed to

Is any one driving from Seoul?

Keith and I will be there. We'll probably show up late on Friday night. It'll be our & Pedro's last meet & greet! We're leaving mid- October! By the way- Pedro's still for sale! We REALLY don't want to sell him for scrap metal so, if anyone's interested let us know (he's on the buy & sell section and in case you don't know Pedro- he's a mini hippi van great for climbers!)

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Mel & Keith

i plan on being there and i'll likely drag along the rest of the sokcho crew. that would include about another three or four. jenn (kogooma) andrew (rok climber) and his wife sylvie. others may be interested as well. should be quite a gang of us waygooks in the park.
