Rainy weekend plans (Yeongam and Wolchulsan/Seonunsan)

Hey guys,

Well, the weather forecasts for this weekend don't look promising (at least not on Saturday!) so I'm considering going to Yeongam, a massive indoor climbing facility near Gwangju/Naju. I've never been there and have wanted to go for two years!! Sunday would be spent climbing at Wolchulsan or Seonunsan (or hiking at Wolchulsan if it was too rainy).

Any takers??

Make sure that you take your motivation with you if heading to the Yeong-Am climbing gym. They have some seriously CONSISTENT routes there (a testament to some awesome route setters!)

I've always wanted to hike Wolchulsan! Where d'you propose we meet?

I checked the weather forecasts for all over Korea, and wunderground says Seoul area is pretty good. Gwangju and Busan don't look good. Some of y'all boulderers might be forced to sample the amazing long routes of Insubong and Seoninbong. Other websites don't agree with Wunderground--or my worldview.

I dunno! Can we camp at Wolchulsan or should we min-bak? Alec, you're not free til Saturday at noon, right? Does anyone else want to meet on Friday? Give me a call/text because I'm leaving school now and don't have internet at home

Hello. I am very new to Korea. Is the area easily accessible from Seoul? I'd do just about anything to get out of the city this weekend. I'd love to hang out with soem climbers. Thanks!

PS - I have my climbing shoes and harness with me.
