2009 Spring Meet and Greet Dates

OK so here is the poll/ vote thing. You can vote for more than one date if you like and if you have a flexible schedule/ attitude. Other members can see your vote, so be warned. No excessive whinging (complaining) about how a given date doesn't suit you if it is selected (most votes wins), or if you didn't vote. I have missed M&G's too, it happens.
That said this year looks like a cracker year with many new faces and great vibe. If by horribly bad luck you can't attend the M&G - don't top yourself just yet, there will be a lot of big get togethers and mini-M&G's this year (as ever). And as ever, you can do the exact same thing as this and organize your own an another weekend! In fact I encourage, nay, beg you to do so!
Pass the word and vote! Vote! Vote!

Hey all,
As I'm new, I'm definitely keen to come out and meet everyone and get some climbing in. I don't have any preferences for a weekend, so I did not vote! Is the meet and greet a whole weekend? Camping or hard shacks?

Matt, the M&G goes from Fri till Sun but people turn up whenever they like and deoart whenever they must. Most folks camp, but there are min-baks (민박) at all locations or even a yurt (sleeps 20) and shelter sheds at Maisan. Your choice, the minbaks/ yurt/ shed options usually cost about 15-25,000won a head per night. You usually look to get one and split it with a few others. At Ganhyeon they minbaks are just as close as the camping amd have showers and heated floors etc. At Maisan the sheds and hurts are heated (I think) but no private showers (cold public shower blocks are right there though). Seonunsan has min-baks a bit further off than the camping (which is fairly basic). Even if you have no preference now, you might find yourself with a future weekend committed elsewhere - in which case you should vote for all the weekends except that one.

Since I didn't make to any of the M&Gs last year, I'll definitely make a concerted effort to make it to this one

English-Book Swap

I propose an English-Book Swap. I have read many books while in Korea and I would like to share them with everyone. I am sure others have books they would love to trade!

Book swap is a great idea! Someone out there still has my book "The self-coached climber" too by the way...and I (don't) know who you are! If that is you please let me know and we can get it back at the M&G or something. I'll bring a few titles again.

I'm new to KOTR, just got back into climbing after a 6 year absence (ya ya I know). In the Air Force here until august, still hitting the indoor wall here trying to get my arms and fingers back on par. I'll be down to try and come out whenever it is scheduled. I don't mind being the rookie for a weekend if I get to meet new people.

I'm a newbie as well. Will do whatever I can to make it. If anyone is up for some get together climbs sooner, I would be ecstatic.
