Maisan 4-5 Oct

since it's already been put into the KOTR calendar...

Oct 4-5 will be my last weekend in Korea. after 3+ years I wasn't sure if this day would actually come, but it's true...I am finally moving on.
I figured that spending my last weekend in my (roughly) home town crag would be the way to go...choice easy climbs at Albawi, (day1) and as much challenge as you can handle at Opera House (day2).
I would love to see as many of you as possible, and if you haven't been to Maisan this is a perfect excuse to see a truly unique temple of Korea with the finest ribs down at the village. waking up at Opera House to the Buddhist melodies from the temple is an experience you will never forget.

never been to maisan, but would love to go and see you before you take off! (even though we pretty much only ever see each other in passing on the way to or from the crag!) will try to come!

I'm there, Rick. You had me at "finest ribs." And with buddhist melodies, it'll be well worth it to hang with you for one more weekend. Sounds awesome. See you at the Busan comp.

The Daejeon crew will be there Rick. Kyung Ah is already missing you, and we are now enrolled in Japanese classes to make visiting you easier! Expect a Musso full of Daejeon KOTRers to be there to see you off. Peace my good man!

Awww shucks I have a conference in Gyeongju that weekend - Rick I will miss you so much!!! We should have a Yangshuo reunion sometime...

Dam I will be above the no smile line starting on the fourth so no going away climbing with ya for me. I will be down for a visit though sometime in the near future.

Daejeon crew - Diana, Kat, Connie - lemme know when you'll be ready to roll. I'm free all Fri but might be craggin in Seoul or Daedunsan. I'd be keen to leave early Sat am, if you cats are free to do so. Short of gear (climb/camp)? Let us know in advance and we'll sort something out. Maybe even Min-bak sharing?

Silly me! I forgot that this Friday (3rd of October) is a public holiday! So we'll all be free (no?) to roll Friday. Sweet as matey-ohs! Oh, fair suck of the sav, this is gonna be great. So let me know how you cats wanna play it. Oh, and does anyone know much about the Min-bak scene at Maisan? Camping is Ok, but I think KA might like closere access to restroom facilities than Albawi/ Opera House camping offer. Is there a camp ground at Maisan?
