Petzl Gri Gri 2

Looks like an excellent piece of gear! Since I don't own a Gri Gri (and have been eyeing them for a while), I'll be picking up a "2" for sure. It looks like they started shipping them from France at the end of Jan... It'll probably take a while for them to show up in Korea.

Anyone have an idea where I might find one once they do arrive? Would I be better off having a friend ship it to me from the States?

the lowering is not as good as with the old gri-gri...way too touchy, less range, and generally not as smooth...If you already have the old one don't bother upgrading...

yeah i thought the lowering was jerky too.....maybe cause we're used to the old grigri?
