Looking for Weekend Climbing Partner

Hello:

I have recently relocated to Korea as an ESL teacher. Currently, I am hoing to find a partner who wishes to regularely climb.

As for my background:

I would define myself as a profient but certainly not advanced rock climber- my climbing systems are sound, but I never led above the 5.10a sport level (though I am not familiar with how that may translate to the grading system used here.)

I brought draws, a set of half ropes, and an extra alpine harness over (though I would love to hit up some trad routes ) and hope to explore korea and climb longer multi-pitch routes as much as possible over here.

If anyone is interested in climbing on the weekends please let me know.!!!!I am located just outside Inje in the Gangwon-do province, but certainly willing to travel. Please contact me via email, as I do not yet have a phone.

Cheers,

Brian

Brian, if you are in Inje why not come down to Ganhyeon this weekend? It's so close to you - just outside of Wonju city towards Munmak...from Wonju you can take the #52 city bus to "Ganhyeon Resort/ 간현 리조트". Likewise Intoutdoors, from Seoul or where you are Ganhyeon isn't hard to get to. Look on the search climbs link for Kanhyun/ Ganhyeon and you'll get all the directions you need. We'll be climbing/ camping/ min-bak-ing all weekend.

I'm down here in Busan, and unfortunately have a prior commitment for Saturday afternoon, otherwise I'd have made the trip. Have fun and post pics.
