English for Climbers

We might choose a day and a craig and offer free "climbing English" lessons for Korean climbers who want to travel, brush up, or learn some new expressions-- maybe to read websites or articles. Many of us are teachers, anyway. We could pick a crag and publicize it on the Korean websites and at our gym and word of mouth.

Or it could be a language exchange and we could make it like a Korea-English 만나서 인사.

Good Idea

Sounds like something we could do locally, or maybe include as part of weekend of events. There were a few suggestions at the M&G to have a weekend, with multiple small initiatives...things like lessons, safety course, intro to climbing, etc. I think this would be a great one to add to one of those weekends. Possibly try one, Sonia, at your gym, or we could do it here in Daegu and see how it goes on a small scale. have any ideas on how you see it working...or details on how the day would go, or what a lesson would include?
