Ganhyeon this weekend(15/16)

I'll be testing the water at Ganhyeon again this coming weekend with a couple mates. At this stage, I'm planning on leaving Saturday at noon from Cheongnyangi and returning Sunday evening. Pull in, and pull some rock

I'll be rolling out there Friday night with the usual payload of stinky climbers. Hopefully they will replace that bald tire and change my oil.

Yeah, Bernnie, Ya, Jay, me and maybe if I'm lucky my lady friend will be coming out on Friday night too. Gonna go back Sat, late afternoon. My plan is to climb the main wall on Friday night and Sat morning, then after lunch go and do some of the climbs on "Hanil-Byeok" and "oo-Byeok". If it's fine I thought a bouldering exercise from the bridge round the water might be fun to try too, see how far we can get before getting wet! Also nobody else is climbing on these climbs these days as they are all amping for the harder climbs. So I checked the bolts and lower anchors they all seem fine.

What's there? sport climbing, one main and four smaller walls. Grades from around 5.6-5.13a/b something.

How do you get there? Go to Cheongnyangni station (청량리역), line 1, exit 4 and turn right at the top of the stairs and walk to the main station 100m. Buy a ticket to Ganhyeon (간현) W5,300 each way.

What times do they leave?
Friday night 7pm or 10pm arrives at 9:02pm and 11:39pm respectively.
Sat morning: 6:50am or 12pm arrives at 8:55am and 1:49pm respectively.

What times do they come back?
coming back at 4:52 pm or 7:32pm arriving in Seoul at 7:12pm or 9:12pm.

What do you need? Shoes, harness, rope, 10-12 draws, chalk.
