Munsusan

Over Chuseok, I was climbing with some folks from Ulsan, and they reminded me about what former Ulsanite Heather referred to as "crusty death bolts"

I'd rather not say "crusty death bolt" in a guidebook that hopes to entice climbers to Korea^^ and I really really don't want myself (or someone else ) to climb on them. When late autumn comes and early winter, Munsusan still sees some sunny days. . . grades for every level, and I know some of the local climbers. Nick and Dre leave in December. . . what a cool send-off this might be!!

Who manages the Munsu Crag? First step in starting all of this is which club set it up and are they still involved in maintenance?

I'll check in my guide books as to who the FA's were and who would likely be the contact for a re-bolting initiative there. Might take a few days to get hold of the person/ persons but I'll try and get this set up.

It was developed by several clubs over the years. 울대산악부, 현대중공업산악회 are two. 한국무룡산악회, 울산산악회, 효울산악회, 거북이 산악회 all had a and in the development!

Call it what it is. Youre not saying every route has crusty death bolts . Cant wait to buy your book by the way.
