Yongseo pokpo(Gurye)

Yongseo Pokpo in Gurye was the first place I both climbed and camped in Korea. http://www.koreaontherocks.com/climb...a_city%3D73%26
Absolutely georgous location and great climbing routes for the beginner. No bouldering to my knowledge though.

Both Maisan near Jinan(Albawi = beginners crag in this great park) and Ganhyeon near Wonju have great camping and beginners routes. Maisan has the better shower/ wash-up facilities but needs a 30 minute walk in to the crag from the camp ground. Ganhyeon has a 1 minute walk in from campground, but isn't as facilitied...though more than good enough! If you go with Ganhyeon, the camp ground at the far end past the shops and on the far side of the river, is the nicer place. You see many dirtbag climbers making do in the dusty car-park zone right opposite the crag/ footbridge, but it's noisy and dusty.
