DIY store in Seoul
 

I suppose DIY activities fit in the "other activities" bit.

I'm furnishing our house in Seoul. Problem is I'm 1.95 m tall and in need of some kitchen counter space. I tried a few stores but nothing was in the right height category.

I'm fairly decent with a hammer and should get my power-tools soon'ish (shipped some time ago) so I reckoned I'd build the thing myself.

Can't find wood anywhere though. I'm looking for a hardware-type store. Something that sells wood (Beams and plates), screws, bolts etc. Anyone knows anything? I'm getting the feeling DIYing isn't something Koreans partake in a lot.
