well, kind of free, but not free as in beer.
if you want my old beater car, all you have to do is come to daejeon and pick it up and get the title transferred.
what's the catch?
i have about 350,000 Won in fines on the car (don't ask). plus i owe about 120,000 in taxes. i can transfer the title (and the fines) to you if the taxes are paid. i will pay the taxes myself. i can't scrap the car as i'd have to pay the fine unless i scrap it illegally which supposedly i could do.
what you do with the car after the title has changed to your name is up to you. you won't be able to legally sell it until the fines are paid.
a little about the car. 1990, kia pride beta version. (i just love that it's a beta version). it's white. it's got character. it's gotten me all over the peninsula. the speedometer is broken so it's impossible to speed. it's been at 184,000Km for about a year now. it's a 4 door but the rear passenger door is broken beyond repair. it just stays shut all the time. i've had it for about 3.5 years and my buddy had it for a few years before that. highway worthy just don't push it too hard. needs windshield wiper fluid. a/c broken... don't know what it takes to fix that. 45,000 won fills it up. it's on empty now :) it handles the off-roading (at halmaebawi) like a champ.
anyway, you won't be impressing the ladies (or the guys) with the pride but it will get you to and from the crags and that's all that really matters.
even if you just get a few months out of it, you'll have saved some time and cash getting to the crags. i was happy to get 2 weeks out of it and now it's been over 3 years.
if you want to know anymore call me tonight or early tomorrow morning at 010-4843-7237
