I'm a Korean-Canadian (eh?) staying in Seoul for the month of July, looking to do some outdoor climbs. I heard that I could try Bookhan-San. I'm relatively new to the sport, I've got shoes, harness and a belay system. I can do grades up to Australian 12-13, which I think might be around 5.7 (then again, I'm probably wrong :P).

I've got tons of time weekdays and weekends, so if you wouldn't mind having a translator, and someone to carry your ropes, look no further! :D

You can reach me, Will, via e-mail: whjjung@yahoo.ca. Thanks!

I also just brought my equipment from HK and would like to climb somewhere near Seoul. I'm living in Suwon.

Which days are you available? Are you able to make it to Seoul, then ultimately to Bookhan San? I'd offer you a ride, but I don't have a car here.

actually, I just got hardness and belay device. Also I seldom do "rock climbing". I usually climb artificial wall in HK so I don't know how to use NUTs.

hm... I was hoping to find someone who can put in protection and lead climbs. But I wouldn't mind trying bouldering this Saturday if you are willing to take me. :)
