Hey'all. I was hoping someone might check on this for me. I am flying out of Incheon at 10:00 on the 21st of June. This would mean getting a 5AM airport bus from Jeonju, which means trying to call a taxi at 4:30AM and lugging luggage down two flights of stairs. . .as I am on crutches, this is too daunting. I plan to head to Seoul either the 19th or 20th during normal hours (so I can recruit someone to lug luggage down my stairs). I'd like to get a W30,000 "love motel" somewhere decently interesting enough but also very convenient to an airport bus stop. Obviously, the hotel would have to have 1st floor rooms or an elevator.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! The more specific the directions, the better. At a subway stop with an elevator, better yet.

Um, you could get a room at the place I was staying in Jongno, not a "love motel" but a hostel for $25,000 for a private room on the 1st floor. It's about 1 block from an airport bus stop; maybe three blocks from the Jongno-sam ga terminal. The name is Seoul backpackers, its between the Jongno-sam ga and Anguk Dong stations; close enough to Insa-dong to waste time there or go bar-hopping in Jonggak. Check the website, www.seoulbackpackers.com for exact directions.

hey there sonia!

why pay 30 dollars to sleep in a not-so-clean, tiny room in a love motel when you can sleep at MY not-so-clean, tiny apartment for FREE?!?:confused8 seriously, if you need a place, you're welcome to crash at my apartment for the night. (but it really is tiny and not-so-clean, or at least, not-so-tidy...okay, okay, it's not-so-clean, either:p ) i probably won't be home the whole time, but i have an extra set of keys and i can meet you there when you come if you let me know what time you'll be swinging by.

as for lugging luggage, (if you're interested) i'd be more than happy to take care of it for you. (you know me...always looking for a chance to show off my stellar climbing muscles! )

as for being an interesting area, well, i think it's interesting when I'm there!:becky: umm, i have a lot of books...and...a good view of bukhan mountain...and dongdaemun is not far...i guess it depends on what you think is interesting...;) there are buses and subway close by too. i live near gireum station.

AND, there is an airport bus a 5-10 minute bus/taxi ride from my doorstep. just send me a pm if you're interested.

ciao!
