Hey, this is my first post.

I'm finally getting out climbing this weekend here in Korea but I'm looking for some advice. Where should I go for a good intro to Korean climbing? Some criteria: something with a decent amount of easy/moderate climbs, nothing with too much overhang, sport climbing, not too crowded. I live in Yong-in and I don't mind traveling but I don't want to go all the way to Busan.
Any suggestions/recommendations would be very appreciated. I'm thinking Seonunsan Park might be good (Mun Bawi or Soksal Bawi)

Thanks

Seonunsan is excellent, but a bit of a trek for you. Kanhyon, near Munmak just outside of Wonju might be a better bet--it's not so far from Yongin, but without a car you might need to go through Wonju. Both of these places have some moderate climbs, but both are likely to be crowded on the weekend. Still, you'll easily find partners, and you'll get a good intro to Korean climbing. Do take a good look at how your potential partners belay!

In case your confused, Kanhyon is spelled with a 'G' on the site. Here's the link anyway: http://www.koreaontherocks.com/climbing/areas.php?area_id=22&sort=name

Like skinsk said, it's a great place to get a taste of climbing in korea.
