Yeah I know I seem to be the only one posting up trips but I am an eager beaver while my weather is still right. Since this is Halloween weekend I didn't really have an idea for any place specific but I am willing to hop on a bus and go somewhere for a climb? or Local again is always nice? karen and i are thinking of coming back down to Yeon Gyeong on saturday. care to meet us there? we will be getting an earlier start so as to avoid the crowds, be in the sun longer and leave earlier.

yeah, where is the climbing comp? i'll be in daegu this weekend as well. are you guys climbing sat or sunday? haven't been on site in a while. it was great meeting antepater, jenny and eric down in seonunsan a few weeks ago!

Well I live here so I'll climb both days. But the climbing comp sounds cool and I would be interested taggin along on that front. If anyone needs a place to crash Jess and I can help put someone up. Check my profile for my phone number and I'll see everyone out there on the rock. Sat a.m. the earlier the better as far as I'm concered. After 9:00 that is. The mornings are starting to be a little crisp. We should have good sun on the rock until 12:30ish. Last time we climbed until the sun set. Peace to all and can't wait for a reunion of the Seoununsa crowed.

Sorry for last minuet planning....but how do you get there? What's the name of the park and is the crag near the entrance?
I'll get the adress for the comp in Dague and give you details on Saturday. Forigners are welcome and the prize money is pretty worth while, without entrance fees.

Hi Jenny,
If you come by train follow the directions from the website that Bawijengi gave. If you come down somewhat early approx 9-10:00ish I can meet you at the train station and we can split the cab out there or something. He gave Bus directions from the train station but you might eat up a lot of time getting out there. I would suggest tryin to cab it after a brief bus trip to the general area it's cheaper that way. a bus/cab combo takes me about 40 minutes and cost about 4000w

Hey everyone-
I'm new to the area and am dying to get out and climb a little. I'm living in Ulsan and noticed that there is some stuff pretty close. I have a car, so that's not a problem. What is a problem is climbing partners... I haven't found any yet (granted I've only been here a week). If anyone is planning on going climbing next weekend, I am game. Sundays work best for me as I normally will be working 1/2 days Saturday. Hope to meet you all soon!

Hey Izuro, I would be keen to climb out at Munsusan which is right near Ulsan. I can come down by bus and you could drive from there if your keen? there is trad and sport there.
Look under climbing areas and check out Munsusan. Peace and welcome to Korea. I'm left on the short end of a stay so I am trying to get some climbing in before I go.

Great! Not sure how long of a bus ride it would be for you-what day would you would you get in? Don't mind driving from the station. You familiar with how to get there? Don't know if you read my profile, but all my gear minus shoes, chalk bag, ATC and harness is back in the states...you mind if we use your rope and gear? I'll invest in some stuff or bring my stuff over if it looks like I'll be here for a while, but not sure now. Thanks for the reply- looking forward to meeting you!
