Hey all,

Not sure if any of you are aware of Mrs. Kim's setup. Im new to the area, but have been very impressed and many of the teacher's here past and present say you can't get a much better setup then here....besides the university gig. Beach, mountains, great climbing and an honest company with an honest boss who knows how to take care of her employees.

The job requires a degree and some experience would be helpful. But, she has had nothing but positive experiences with climbers and "outdooorsy types", so if your interested please reply. The job starts around Feb 20th. There is some flexibility in start time. The pay is based on experience, so I would need a resume before she would give you a base pay. Job has full apartment, plenty of holidays, one month bonus upon contract completion. hours are 2-9pm. We show up at 2, plan for our classes till 3. Then each class is 50 minutes long. We usually teach 6 classes at best, some nights only 5. We work Monday to Friday with weekends and all Korean holidays off. The schedule is quite conducive for climbing. Im usually at the crag (even in winter) by 9 with 4 hours of climbing in before I have to be back for work. In the spring, temperatures should be warm enough to start even earlier. There is a local bouldering gym thats free, if your respectful. Its very small but does well for training.

There is also a possibility that the job, if you wanted, could be in the ECC preschool which hours then are 9-3:00pm. You work with kids from the ages of 4-8. She usually only hires women for these positions, but if your really interested in the pre-school, let me know.

If your into the benefits of a smaller town, mountains, apts with a view and the ocean only a walk a way, give me a buzz. I will be doing the initial interview and will act as the go between for much of the info. Mrs. Kim's English is decent, but she prefers to use one of her teachers for this kind of thing.

My wife and I were recommended and found this job in all most the same way....friends of ours were climbers (Jen and Greg) and they told us this place was great, so we decided to give it a shot....we have worked in Japan, India, Thailand and in the States and can say this is one of the best gigs yet for everything you could ever want.
