thank you for your support!
you've all helped me decide to stick it out longer.
my boyfriend in seoul will be disappointed, but i've thought through it.
i'll keep my bags packed so i can leave on a moment, it feels safer.

i was missing home a lot, and trying to be a california sun girl in winter mountains...
which doesn't work well :). Also trying to live city lifestyle in the country.
Guys i can do it. i'm not miserable in Sancheong but its more a rollercoaster.
Think i can adjust... take a weekend to stay here, keep good company...
avoiding coteachers who dont speak english and choosing only fun activities and fun people should help loads.

My coteacher fixed my heat today so i'm no longer freezing, and the house is getting fresher as i let in air.
Today i got a free membership to the local gym!! And my students.. how could i leave them?

If i can stick this out i'll deserve the pay and the respect of a 1 year teacher :)

Good for you Debs! All the thanks straight back at you too. It's always an up-vibe to catch up with you, and share a rope length or meal. After doing your first year, things really do open up here opportunity-wise, so we are really glad you'll be hanging around:D .
