HI all,
I can see there are a lot of new members on this sight. I know the profiles are anonymous but you should fill out your location. When ever planing trips I look to see who is in the area we are thinking of going to. That way we can ask for some beta or for another climber to come a long. So if your in Korea say what area, Seoul, Busan, Cheoungu? Where ever. Peace.

This is a really good idea. Now you can search for users by location. So if you want to find someone in Daegu, just go here: http://www.koreaontherocks.com/forums/memberlist.php?do=search and type in the Location and search.

If you fill in the location, it will make it really easy for climbers to find other climbers in their area.

All information is ONLY accessible by members. If you want other members to know your email address, put it here. DO NOT post your email address in the forums because spam spiders will come through the site, find email addresses and, well, you know the rest.

i agree, it's nice to know who's out there...but i understand annonymity.
if you must post your email in a forum (or anywhere for that matter), enter it like this "user at domain dot com". spambots can join the pieces if you just put in spaces.

I 4th that. . . I often PM people based on profiles and met lots of cool folks. Also, it helps evaluate advice and suggestions if we have some idea of experience (and it can help me in selecting appropriate places/routes). For posting new areas, it adds to accountability if the poster is not anonymous.
