Riddle and I went there today. See the 2006 photoPlog. We had a blast and got to place some of that new pro I bought. Those old bolts are kind of scary and the pitons along some of the routes were even more so. I also discovered some old rigid cams that were left there years ago....

Wow, we had a blast!

Once again at KMU, myself, Riddle, Mandalyn and Ilsanbro found great weather, excellent climbs, and lots of wind and seaspray....

Looks (sounded) like fun! Some excellent photos! Definitely on my list of places to go (I've never been to KMU, and not sure where I was in Keumjeongsan!! I was just along for the ride and didn't know Korean well enough). . . anyway, loved these photos! Especially the one of Amanda free-soloing and the one of Ib belaying Eric? from above on that very cool looking crack! Maybe a good place for an end-of summerr/back to climbing M&G when the summer crowds are down, and the big season coming up. What is the camping situation there?

There is a camping area near the west gate. It would be a long hike from there. But, on my way out last night, I saw many people at dusk coming in with camping gear and climbing equipment to get an early start at "owning" the routes. On Saturday, nobody climbs. On Sundays, it's packed. I'm sure we can camp there without problem. I work with the Busan Police daily, so I'll ask them about restrictions. I don't think there is any, because it's deserted come dusk on Saturday except for the campers at the routes I would say.

Yo, thanks again for everyone's hospitality. Had a great time hanging out with all the folks from Busan(MP3, Riddle, Mandalyn and the Frenchmen). Busan is a great place with plenty of climbing I encourage everyone to check it out and hang out with these folks because they are all great people!

Yes, it's true. Busan has a lot to offer. Weather, climbing, beaches....

KOTR crew, Ilsanbro (Corey) kept me laughing more than I can remember. And, that is not an easy task.

Y'all come down and check it out. You have NOTHING to lose. The beer is on me and you have a place to crash.

Corey, it was great fun having you here. I thought I was funny....
Coming out of a shower in a towel with three women there? Taking a leak at the base of a climb???? Dude, I just wish the micro-brewery was open. I bet I would have had an even better time......

Aw man, Corey in a towel and I missed it?!
Guess there were only 2 women in attendance in Daegu and no showers at Sunnunsan. . .

next time. . .
