Hi all,
A friend of mine has a rope for sale, description below:
'It was only used about 3 or 4 times.. 2 on a wall, one or two on Insubong or something easy. It's a 60m Edelrid 10.5mm, dry rope. It's been stored in it's bag sitting on my shelf for a few years. I thought I'd start climbing again but I just don't think it's gonna happen now.'
If you're interested, pm me and I'll hook you up with him. For those of you who may not be aware, some people (and any rope /climbing company, for various good reasons, including liability) do not advocate buying used ropes.
However, my friend asked me to see if I knew anyone who would be interested in buying it, and so that's what I'm doing now, for him and those who have differing viewpoints on the matter. I'm not endorsing the buying and selling of used ropes in any way, nor is this a statement on my beliefs on this topic. Whatever you decide to do, and whatever rope you use, you should always check it to make sure it's in good condition - again, I don't mean to sound patronizing, just want to cover my @$$ (thanks, Rick :D ).
Adios!
Heidi
