Hey all,

I will be returning in a week. My brother owns SharpEnd Publishing, a climbing guidebook/calendar publisher that also distributes climbing DVDs.

http://www.sharpendbooks.com/

If anyone wants anything from SharpEnd (all in English!!) and gets in touch with me before I leave, I will deliver it free thus avoiding any shipping charges. I'll also bring back the few sleeping bag liners left from my importing days, as I ran out last time.

Betty and the Silver Spider is a great, amusing gym-climbing guide for those who are just starting to climb and lookinng for explanations, terminology, etc in English.

Dave, bouldering video for those rainy spring days?

Feel free to PM me with any inquiries, "orders" etc. I'm leaving early on the 28th.

Hey, Sonia, what does Fred have on the docks? What good bouldering vids are available? I hate to ask you to throw me a list or anything, but I would definetly be interested in buying many vids from him/you/sharpend, especially since my stateside prodeal is now kaput (friggin REI's killin' all the small stores...).

Best of the West? Big Game? Free Hueco DVD or cassette? Dosage I/II DVD? so many more. what are my options? Do you think Fred or you can throw me a price list online for the dvds?

thanks for the heads up, sonia, that rules (god, i'm even jonesing for the colorado bouldering guide, but i got like 4 at home...it would be torturous anyway...).

Ok, cheers,
Dave

Dave,

Check out the Sharp End web page-- it has all the videos and DVDs and I think they are all in stock. You might contact Fred direct (he says nice things about you)-- his margin is low on videos, but who knows. . . I can at least save any postage and we need to get together for some climbing/bouldering anyway. Get a nice light DVD we all can use. COBO is pretty useless where you (we) are!

BTW, some GOOD news (re: small stores and REI), the BoMo is back in the same location, though so far about 1/4 of the original space and I think only Culp is working there. They closed last time I was in Korea. I am so glad it's back-- I don't even go in REI anymore (not since they drove MoSpo out of business)! Neptune's holding on so far. . .
