Those darn Seoulites! They're so lucky! At least if this rumour is true.

Has anyone else heard reports about the new indoor ice climbing center that was recently opened in Northern Seoul? Apparently it's close to Buhkansan? I don't know much about it, but I may try to find it this Saturday. Anyone else want to get a jump on the ice season? Apparently it's a fairly substantial indoor ice wall, gear is available to be rented, not sure about rental or user fees.

You lucky buggers who live in Seoul. :fish:

I guess this is just a pro to help balance out the pollution and the lack of natural ice to climb!

Seriously though, anyone want to check it out this week or next? Let me know! :becky:

Thanks to bawijaengi (http://www.koreaontherocks.com/forums/member.php?u=7) it's already been posted. KOLON SPORTS - O2 (http://www.koreaontherocks.com/climbing/areas.php?area_id=104). At least it seems like this is the same place.

hth,

Hey Heidi,

Sounds like fun. The Canadian's can't wait for winter eh? Let me know what time your thinking of going. I could be up in Seoul by around noon. (Sunday morning would also work for me).

Hey there Rich!

Good to hear from you - of course I remember you. Did I really give you climbing advice though, or are you just being facetious? Any advice I give would probably be pretty scary! :D Whereabouts are you now? Why no ice climbing in 2006?

Heidi
