I see no one has anything posted for this weekend. My partner is off to Mexico, but I am looking to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather while it lasts. Anyone DEFINITELY free this weekend? I'm up for suggestions and/or I can make some, depending on your location, experience, gear, etc.

:o Sorry...

If you want to do something I work Friday night but should be free later on SAT and SUN.

Did not see Jeolla-buk on the list is it one you are looking to check out?

You had put up something about Daejon before and I wanted to check that out because it is like an hour drive for me down there...

Let me know, but am really sorry about last weekend

I had a person bail on me before but they did not even tell me they were not coming

Mike,

Don't worry about the other week, as I had another partner for sure (you were going to be extra:). Jeollabuk-do is my province, the province of Maisan, Sununsan, Halmaebawi. . . but also not far from Daejon.

I would be willing to go where someone else wants to go this weekend, as I feel like lately I have been "dragging" (albethey willing) partners to check out places I've been wanting to go.

Hello Sonia,

I'm free this weekend, and I too want to take advantage of this nice fall weather.

I'm willing to go anywhere as long as I'm back home on Sunday before midnight.

P.S.- just in case you don't remember I'm Ricks friend from Kunsan AB. (USAF photo geek)

Hey Josh. . . saw the photos in the base paper. . . cool! Well, our options are wide open. I have a bit of a cold (from Jeju?), so I was thinking of sticking close by, maybe more urban cragging.

Mike, Josh, anyone else. . . let me know-- grades and types of climbs you'd like, gear you have, etc, I'll try to pick something acceptible to all. Or is there somewhere on this sight that sounds good? PM me, and I'll reply or post suggestions. Er, and this time we'll all get home by midnight (I was in at 2 last time!!)

Sonia,

I was hoping to stay within driving distance about 2hours or less so I don't have to be on Pass or worry about getting back(ie no tickets for trains etc.) That is about Daejon or a little south of that...

Other than that I just like to get out so even if I just do one climb and enjoy the outdoors I will be happy. I do have a rope and draws, harness, cooler(for water of course) etc.

Hey, Mike . . . remember me? I was supposed to go to the gym with you a while back. Well, I'm now married and my wife has just barely moved here from the States. A lot has been going on and I haven't had the chance to get back with you or even get to the gym. I'm practically crawling up the walls here . . . looking for ways to climb my apartment and rappel off. Probably not the greatest idea, but it's something. Anyway, sorry for interrupting your thread.

OK, so it seems the plan is to meet Sat at Pyeongtaek at 11:08, when the #1472 rolls in, with those of us from the S aboard. Anyone wanting to join us will need to secure their own car/transport to Icheon. Sunday, it looks like we'll climb just S of Seoul, and anyone who can find a subway can meet us. PM for mo' beta.
